Empowering International Students' Career Development: Successful ACCA Information Session Held

On the afternoon of October 22, Ms. He Bijuan, Assistant Business Relations Manager at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), visited the college to deliver an information session on ACCA exam preparation and career planning for the 2024 and 2025 cohort of international students. This session was a key initiative following the signing of the "MPAcc Program — ACCA Course (International Student Program)" memorandum of understanding between the college and ACCA on October 14, 2024, providing students with valuable opportunities to enhance practical skills and enrich their career development paths.

During the session, Ms. He focused on the core needs of international students, explaining in detail the conditional exemption benefits under the college’s collaboration with ACCA. She also provided a clear breakdown of relevant costs—including registration fees, annual fees, exemption fees, and exam fees at different stages—tailored to the standards of the students' home countries.

In the interactive Q&A session, Ms. He addressed questions on topics such as the ACCA registration process, exemption application details, exam scheduling, and study planning. The engaging discussion effectively resolved many of the students' concerns regarding exam preparation and career development.

Moving forward, the college will continue to deepen its collaboration with ACCA, optimize teaching and administration in line with the MOU, and facilitate subsequent exemption certification applications. Leveraging high-quality resources, the college remains committed to providing comprehensive academic and career development support for international students and enhancing the program's quality and global influence.
