2025 International Students Meet Their Supervisors at Orientation Session

To foster mutual understanding between thesis supervisors and the new 2025 international student cohort, the International Education Center organized a meet-and-greet session on the afternoon of October 24, providing an efficient and direct platform for face-to-face communication.

Nearly 20 faculty supervisors attended the event in person or via video, extending a warm welcome to new students from 16 developing countries. The supervisors introduced their research expertise, academic achievements, and experience in guiding international students, offering tailored advice on academic and research life at the college. The new students listened attentively and took notes, creating an engaging atmosphere.

Following the introductions, the International Education Center held a special briefing on the upcoming supervisor selection process. Staff explained the specific procedures, key steps, and important considerations in detail, ensuring students are well-prepared for the selection phase.

The session was well-received by the students and has laid a solid foundation for a smooth supervisor matching process. Moving forward, the International Education Center will continue to refine the training system for international students under the college's guidance, steadily enhancing education quality and advancing the international student program to new heights.
