On the occasion of the 31st "World Book Day," a unique cultural experience event titled "Rhythmic SNAI · Scholarly April" an "Experience China" activity for international students unfolded poetically across the campus landmarks.

International students from 19 countries, including Sierra Leone, Namibia, Ethiopia, Cambodia, and Laos, dressed in their vibrant and vivid traditional costumes, used five classic Tang poems as a bridge to inscribe Chinese poetry into the spring scenery. Through their actions, they vividly embodied the profound essence of "Reading China."

This event broke through the boundaries of traditional Chinese language classrooms by adopting a full-process, outcome-based learning model. From the Justice Pillar to the Central Avenue, and from the Farming and Reading Pavilion to the APEC landmark, the international students rehearsed, practiced, and recorded their performances in diverse campus settings. The five classic Tang poems served as the thread throughout: "Spring Dawn" ("Sleeping unaware of spring morning" and "Night wind and rain sounds in my ears") awakened the season and celebrated nature; "Love Seeds" ("Gather them, let your heart be full") conveyed Eastern sentiments to the world; "Grass on the Ancient Plain Farewell to a Friend" ("Wildfires cannot burn it all") embodied resilient vitality; "An Unmet Visit to a Hermit" ("Here amid the peaks alone") evoked a serene, Zen-like atmosphere; and "On the Stork Tower" ("To see a thousand miles away") expressed the aspiration to climb high and see far.
