The Asia-Pacific Finance and Development Institute (AFDI) which is co-located at SNAI, was initiated by the Chinese Central Government for capacity building under the APEC framework. To promote South-South cooperation and capacity building in the fields of finance and development for developing countries, in 2015, AFDI launched the “Master of Professional Accounting Program”, which aims to provide professional master’s degree education to the young and mid-aged finance and economic officials from developing countries in the world.
